July 2026

Personalized dashboards, a Facility Management operations home, more accurate metrics, clearer diagnostics, and automated reports.

We're excited to share meaningful improvements that help you monitor facilities more effectively, understand performance at a glance, and receive regular, useful insights without extra effort.

Personalized Dashboards
Follow the sites that matter most to you and see a tailored homepage with quick summaries of utility costs, recent invoices, and equipment status. Rearrange and resize the information cards to match how you work, with your preferences saved automatically. Filter views across your selected sites for faster decision-making.

One-Click Slack Notifications
Connecting a Slack channel is now as simple as clicking Add to Slack. Choose your workspace and channel in Slack’s own screen, and the connection is created automatically—no need to build an app, generate a webhook URL, or copy and paste anything. Huckleberry requests only the permission to post to the channel you pick, and each connection is clearly labeled with its channel and workspace name. The manual webhook option is still available for Microsoft Teams and for anyone who prefers it.

Facility Management as an Operations Home
Facility Management is now a portfolio operations dashboard, not just a list of sites. The moment you land, you see overall health at a glance — active alarms, open faults, how many pieces of equipment are online, current demand, and today's energy use. Building cards show live demand, energy trends, and connection status, and a dedicated Power Meters view lets you watch your entire metering fleet's live readings and daily usage in one place. Portfolio-wide alarm and fault feeds surface what needs attention first, and you can jump straight to any site from a fault to dig in. For accounts focused on building controls, Facility Management can serve as the default landing page after login.

More Accurate Facility Metrics
Demand and energy figures on the Facility Management home now reflect true readings — current demand shows the meter's live system demand rather than a stored peak, and "energy today" reflects actual daily usage even on meters that report a running lifetime total. Power meter readings across the fleet are consistent with the detailed meter views, so the numbers you see at a glance match what you find when you drill in.

Clearer Equipment Alerts and Diagnostics
Advanced Fault Detection (FDD) capabilities now provide easier-to-understand explanations of what went wrong with your equipment, including cause-and-effect details and how issues have progressed over time. Historical context for ongoing problems helps you prioritize maintenance and respond faster.

Improved Facility Organization
Track buildings and equipment with greater detail, including better address information and clearer relationships between sites, meters, and systems. This makes reporting and navigation more accurate, especially for larger portfolios.

Automated Reports and Easier Previews
Monthly energy performance summaries (including savings analysis) can now be scheduled for automatic email delivery to you and your stakeholders, with simple unsubscribe links. Previewing your data and reports has also been made more reliable.

Stronger Building System Connections
nHaystack direct integration with Niagara BMS hardware provides more dependable live data access and controls compatibility. Equipment information and history are more consistent and complete without additional software layers.

Enhanced Savings Tracking and Reporting
Continued refinements to tools that measure and verify energy savings, including automated report generation and better baseline comparisons to demonstrate results clearly.

More Reliable Utility and Sustainability Insights
Improvements in how bills and usage data are processed lead to cleaner trends, better anomaly flagging, and higher-quality carbon, water, and cost reports you can confidently share.
